Is There A Reunion In The Offing?
You feel really delighted when you bang on somebody accidentally and come to know that you have known each other for a long time, but have lost touch due to unavoidable circumstances.. Reunion is always a pleasure and you tend to exchange views on whatever happened during that intervening period... Is there a reunion in the offing? Possible going by what two people have said so far...
Confusing? I know... Thought of writing something else but ended up writing this... so please bear with me!!!
I am talking about 2 adivasies of Nanganallur, our own Sridhar and Ramesh, who had lived in Nanganallur since his childhood and had moved to the US in search of greener pastures.... Let see how the story develops....
Sridhar and Ramesh can you update us on the further developments??

hi guys,
me too studied at modern sen. sec. school, nanganalur (Also ran.....!) from 1981 to 1985. Remembers those greeny days. Still fresh the face of few in my mind - Rajesh Kumar, Ramachandran, Rathi, Raman, Lakshman, Anand, N.Priya, and ofcourse my that-time-favourite Jayrasri Raman.
Really after 1985, i have never seen any of them except Rajesh Kumar, whom i happened to meet at Thanjavur during his days at Shanmuga Engineering College. Some times these nostalgic moments drag me too far from present, particularly while talking with B.V.Gowri Shankar (BVGS).

Sridhar, like the old tamil movies,
probably the best bet would be to sing a song which Ramesh can relate himself
with.... Ha Ha Ha!!!!

Yup, my father is involved in all those things you
mentioned..and yeah...we are neighbors to both Mr. Ramamurthy and Somasundaram, both their houses are just two or three houses away from our home. And yeah, i
do know Mr Krishnamurthy, though I have not met his sons in quite a while now. So I am guessing now I need to be refreshed on how you know all these people,
because to be honest, I am still not able to recollect...

Ramesh
I may vaguely, remember your dad if I am right. Hey since your dad was with Telecom, you should be knowing about Ravi, Bhaskar and Kannan (s/o
Krishnamurthy) or should be knowing about Mr. Ramachandran who is also living in telegraphs colony. Are your parents living just opposite to Ramamurthy mama's
house, and adjacentto Somasundaram mama's house. Is your father , an active participant in all spiritual and religious work. Was he also an activist with
Hindu Mission, a bit dark man with Specs. Pl let me know all these.. I guess I am closing out..... guys, if then , its a real satisfaction for me.

Hey guys...to tell
in detail....my parents live in Hindu Colony (near the Jain clinic). My father is a retired Telecom Dy. General Manager and is involved with the civic exnora
in our locality (Mr. K. Subramanian). We have lived in the same house since 1979. I studied in Modern through my fourth standard (84 through 88 I suppose,
used to be in the B section). Then I went through three schools in two months while trying to settle through my fathers transfer..finally ended up studying
from 5th through 7th in the KV Minambakkam, adjacent to Trident.
Went to DAV, Gopalapuram from 8th through 12th..went to Pondicherry for my Mechanical Eng degree, then came to the US to work on my MS in Industrial
Engineering. Now, after getting a parallel degree in Computer Engineering am working as a developer in Phoenix, AZ. Ever since I came across the group, I am
trying to remember the names and faces, but with no apparent luck. And yes, I am excited beyond words that I have found a link to Nanganallur in addition to my
parents.

PM Guys
I am sure that if Ramesh lets know where he lived in Nanganallur and belongs to which batch in Modern School, I may try to recollect.
Let me say about the enjoyment I get when I bang on a person from Nanganallur in other place than Nanganallur. The person other who should be accompanying, may
get bored. Hey not much like our Rajesh (Thoppai - Sorry I shouldnt mention him so , but still for identity).
Ramesh, Vasanth knows a lot about me. Thus I would like to put forth the details to you. I am a 1973 born Virgo, had my full schooling with Modern Senior
Secondary School. I passed out from the School in the year 1990 and then colleging and other professional education went on till 1997... Joined with
Reliance Industries in Bombay. Every Bombayite would have envied me for the place in which lived, Colaba.... Yes I had every thing in Bombay, but still was
longing to come back. Those were the days, when I stayed away from Nanganallur for a year and half , first time in my life time. Made it a point to come back
soon to Chennai. Unfortuantely I got an opportunity only in Bangalore.... I made my Management to feel that I am a Critical Resource, worth for the Company, but
should be placed in Madras, to use my fullest potential. I ran away from Bangalore in 6 months and still living in Chennai ( I call so, becos after these
days, Madras had become Chennai)except for occassional overseas travel.
I cannot specify in my childhood days that I lived in this place in Nanganallur , as I had been shifting places between AG's Colony, State Bank Colony , Hindu
Colony, Sarvamangala Nagar.... but predominantly beyond Ranga Theater. Now I have got a house in Hindu Colony. Living peace fully with parents, wife and kid.
But now a days thinking of moving down to city with regret, due to various reasons...
